Thank you for visiting my site. I am a commissioning artist of all the subjects you see on the left so please browse each section, and if you are interested in commissioning a painting or if you would like greetings cards or prints then please contact me via email or phone. If you are coming to Crufts then please drop in to my stand 127 in Hall 1 and say hello! The painting below is one of the JONROMAC Irish Setters which I am talking about on BBC Radio Solent on the 9th March 9.50 - 10.15am and it will be on show at Crufts with unframed prints available at £45. Left to right is Maddie who will soon lay down and fall asleep, then Sophie who acts the princess, Rory who is nervous of strangers and doesn't look me in the eye and finally Ayrton who is already a winner!

This is "Setting the Time - 25 2 20 2 9" and is going to be my centrepiece for this years show

The original of this is on a 36 x 24" canvas, will be on show at Crufts and is for sale, as well as 16 x 12" image, limited edition of 99 at a price of £50 each unframed. To pre-order please contact via the above email address.
The following are some examples of the commissioning work I do of peoples pets and animals. You will find mainly dogs, cats, horses and the odd surprise, but these paintings give you an idea of the breadth of work I now cover. The most challenging and yet the most satisfying is to paint the character of pairs or multiples of animals on the same canvas. For instance, the Irish Setters Casey & Katie appeared in November 08 at Discovering Dogs at Earls Court and at Crufts 2009 and will appear again in 2010!

The black lab to the left is Saffie and was my first animal commission and as a result I now paint peoples pets to order and here are a few, such as this guy who is called Sabre, a huge Belgian x German Shepherd but soft as mutton - thanks Audrey for loaning him to me.
Westies!
And this is Lily. When this went on exhibition in a gallery window, a passing Westie stood up to the window with both paws asking to go in and was disappointed to find she wasn't real!!

The above are Chester and Holly in various poses
And for those who haven't met him this is our black and tan Cavalier King Charles Spaniel,
Flinty - friend to everyone and fool to all
And this is Oz
Nancy - the first of many Blue Roans - which happened to be my Mum and Dad's first dog!

Whilst this is Conrad, an elegant stallion of a Chinese Crested
I know, a bit big for a hamster but heh, Mr Scampers is a big guy!
And this is Freckles, I wonder why!

And here are some examples of families - These are painted on 36 x 24 canvas and one of my favourite things to do is arrange families in ways you could never get them to pose.

Berry & Amber, two working cockers!

Barney & Bracken
Sunny & Finn
Horses! This is Bertie who resides at Burley Manor Stables and Bart, Galaxy, Rosie, Jasper and Prophet from Milford!

And finally Smiley the genuine article for a New Forest Pony!
