Seascapes
My favourite Beach - Barton on Sea
Beachcomber Series
This view is specifically from the beach at Barton on Sea. The size is specifically in landscape and available in 36 x 14 inch or 24 x 12 inch

Pebble Beach Series
This view is from Milford on Sea and is available in a rectangular style of 24 x 18 or 20 x 16 inches. There is less detail on the IOW because the detail is focussed on the foreground as it is before midday when the sun rests behind the island and detail does not show..

This is the Beachcomber and Pebble Beach rolled into one as it is available now in 36" by 24"
Left and Right with the Rocks!!

Isle of Wight - Spring 2005

This picture was commissioned by Mr Smyth who had always wanted a picture of the IOW but had never seen one he liked, so we constructed this view from a series of photographs choosing the best aspects. It is nearly the same view as Beachcomber but from the footpath on the cliffs.
Commissioned by a lady who loves the sea with nothing in or on it, just wanted it moody, the same colour as her hair! Thank you Roz !

Looking out Mudeford, Hegistbury, Poole and eventually Weymouth after the storm.
Cutty Sark and Windsor Castle

This is a constructed picture of two famous clippers the Cutty Sark and the Windsor Castle combining the best features of both vessels. I am enjoying doing the sea at its worst or is it its best? I am happy to translate a 2D picture of one of these vessels into a 3D version like this

And this is the Salacia which sank off Hunstanton in 1897.
Training Ships

I had the pleasure of reproducing the Astrid for a top marine biologist who spent time being trained in the art of sea(wo-)manship. Stay safe Analise! If you have training ship experience and would like a painting to celebrate the time you spent there then contact me with the name of the vessel.
The Wave

This is my marine back garden and this particular painting is from the Hurst Castle shingle bank near Keyhaven after a particularly vicious storm. 20 x 16 Oil on Acrylic. Prints available
Needles Lighthouse

From my imagination of the view outside the front door of No1 The Needles on a night when no-one would want to be there. Original sold.
Sunset IOW

This was a real adventure for me and a departure from all that I have done before, but I was convinced that the beauty of the sunsets around here could be captured and look acceptable on canvas. I hope you agree, but I showed this the day after it was painted and it sold to a very lovely lady, God Bless you Jan, and as a result the next 3 have been delivered, thanks Dave and Ella!! The original is 36 x 12 inches and if you would like your coastline with the same treament then email me.
Hurst Castle

You can reach out and touch the Isle of Wight but also the yachts as they sail out to the channel past Hurst Castle and the Needles- a treacherous piece of water.
